Our Story

Bored Inc. is Carol & Courtney, a mother and daughter
design team based in Los Angeles.
Fourteen years ago, they began drawing artwork for manufacturers
to use on their products. Their designs appeared on a huge variety
of items like hats, bags, accessories and apparel in stores like
Hot Topic, Urban Outfitters, Claires Accessories, and more.

Then, something happened... they traveled to Japan.
After being surrounded by the cute and happy imagery of Tokyo,
they decided that what they really wanted was to create their own
characters, creating the "kawaii" aesthetic that they loved so much
from Japan.

Now they produce their own items and have several character brands
with full storylines, including everyone's favorite, 'Stinky Poo'.
Their art appears on products all over the world, and now they are
hoping to delve into the world of animation and gaming.
